Kylix 5 – Greek ancient pottery

Kylix has a broad mouth and a shallow body raised on a stem from a foot with two horizontal handles disposed symmetrically. The interior base of the cup was the primary surface for painted decoration. It was used during the Classical age and replaced by the Skyphos in the Hellenistic years.
